- Made in the USA, the 280 Series is a traditional bucket style welding helmet
- Molded from Super Tuff nylon – lighter than fiberglass and extremely durable
- Patented Sel-Snap lens retention system provides easy loading of filter, cover and protective plates
- Available in standard 2” x 4-1/4” lift and fixed front versions
- Lift front version comes standard with spring loaded positive lock feature
- Also available in 4-1/2” x 5-1/4” fixed front version
- Available with our proprietary SUPER KOOL SILVER COATING which keeps the helmet 30% cooler than standard helmets and sheds spatter without burning
- Provides maximum operator comfort and safety
- Available with Sellstrom’s patented “quick-release” ratchet headgear suspension with sweatband included, or with universal slot adaptors for slotted hard hats or with Zip-Klip bracket adaptor for non-slotted hard hats
- Specially designed shape for use with cartridge respirators
- Meets ANSI Z87.1 standards and are CUL certified to CAN/CSA-Z94.3 standards
- Models 23501 and 23901 are CE certified
